Paul Marcarelli, or better know as Verizon’s TV ad, “Can you hear me now?” has changed allegiances to Sprint. For almost 9 years, Paul was with Verizon until he started drawing attention to the fact that Sprint’s network has vastly improved. Sprint’s reliability is now within 1% of Verizon. Paul is now a Sprint customer, appearing in TV spots for the nation’s fourth-largest wireless carrier, the first of which was during the NBA finals. For the carrier, they want the audience to see Paul now advertising Sprint and ask themselves, “What happened?” Paul states that every network is great but also says, “So I switched to Sprint and millions more have too. Can you hear that?” For this reason, many Verizon Wireless users have transferred over the Sprint in hopes they will have a better, more reliable carrier. Carriers are working everyday to one-up another company, so who’s to say who’s in technically better then the other?
